Craniosacral therapy

...

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a form of alternative therapy that involves gentle manipulation of the skull (cranium), spine, and sacrum. Practitioners believe that by manipulating these areas, they can promote the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and improve overall health. CST is used for various conditions, including autism, although its efficacy is highly controversial and not supported by robust scientific evidence. Many medical professionals and organizations, such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Institute of Health, do not endorse CST due to the lack of scientific evidence. There is little or no evidence that craniosacral therapy helps autistic children. Also, the cost of cranial osteopathy or craniosacral therapy is high.
