Laser acupuncture

Laser Acupuncture, also known as Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) or Cold Laser Therapy, is an alternative therapy that uses low-intensity lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to stimulate acupuncture points on the body. Unlike traditional acupuncture, which uses needles to stimulate these points, laser acupuncture employs light energy. Research specifically addressing laser acupuncture for autism is limited and inconclusive. Most studies focus on its use for pain management and general wellness rather than specific autism-related symptoms. More rigorous and large-scale studies are needed to validate the effectiveness and safety of laser acupuncture for autism.
