Peer support for sexual functions

Peer support  for sexual functions and relationships is an approach in which people, sharing the same experiences or challenges as the person in the rehabilitation process, support the person in the rehabilitation process in the development of self-management skills and coping strategies to achieve and maintain optimal functioning and well-being. Peer support in rehabilitation is organized by the rehabilitation team by bringing together peers, persons receiving rehabilitation and their families. It can be performed in one-to-one or group sessions.
