Applied kinesiology

Applied kinesiology (AK) is an alternative medicine practice that involves muscle testing to diagnose and treat various health conditions. Practitioners of applied kinesiology believe that various muscles are linked to specific organs and systems in the body, and that muscle weakness can indicate problems in corresponding organs or imbalances in the body. When applied to autism, proponents claim that AK can help identify nutritional deficiencies, allergies, and other issues that they believe might contribute to symptoms of autism. However, it is important to note that applied kinesiology is not supported by scientific evidence and is generally considered pseudoscientific.
