Lindamood-bell learning processes

...

Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes is an educational program designed to improve reading, comprehension, and math skills. It is particularly known for its work with individuals who have learning difficulties, including those with dyslexia, ADHD, and autism. The program was developed by Patricia Lindamood and Nanci Bell, and it is based on the idea that sensory-cognitive processing is essential for developing literacy and math skills. This program focuses on developing concept imagery, which is the ability to create mental images from spoken or written language. It is designed to improve reading comprehension, critical thinking, and expressive language skills by helping individuals visualize what they are reading or hearing. The effectiveness of Lindamood Bell has been the subject of much debate. While some studies have shown that the program can be effective for improving reading skills, others have shown little to no improvement.

It is important to note that Lindamood Bell is a relatively expensive program, and it may not be accessible to all families. Additionally, the program requires a significant time commitment, as it is typically delivered one-on-one over a period of several months. According to third-party websites, the cost of the program could range from €87 to €105 per hour/session or about €1,920 per week, with a commitment of about 20 hours a week and 12 weeks in total. That makes a total of 23,040€, making it unaffordable for many families. Taking into account the lack of scientific evidence and the incredible high cost of the intervention the Lindamood-bell program could be considered a scam.
