Miller method

...

The "Miller Method" typically refers to anapproach used to treat children with developmental disorders, particularly autism. Developed by Dr. Arnold Miller and Eileen Eller-Miller, the method emphasizes enhancing the child's ability to interact with the environment and improve their social, communicative, and cognitive skills. One of the tools of the Miller Method is the "Elevated Square," a structure that helps children practice motor planning, spatial awareness, and problem-solving. The square is raised above the ground, and children are encouraged to move around it, stepping over obstacles and navigating the space. The evidence supporting the Miller method is low, with some anectodtal reports suggesting positive outcomes, the method lacks of scientific evidence.
