Chiropractic Care

...

Chiropractic care is not supported by scientific evidence as an effective treatment for autism. While some parents report anecdotal improvements in their children after chiropractic adjustments, these reports are not backed by rigorous research. Furthermore, the risks associated with spinal manipulation, particularly in children, should not be overlooked. Parents are encouraged to focus on evidence-based therapies that have been proven to help children with autism develop key skills and improve their quality of life. Chiropractic care may offer benefits for certain musculoskeletal issues, but its role in managing autism remains unproven and should be approached with caution.
