Bioacustic correction

...

Bioacoustic correction, sometimes referred to as "sound healing" or "bioacoustic therapy," is an alternative treatment that uses sound frequencies to supposedly improve various health conditions, including autism. Proponents claim that specific sound frequencies can positively influence the brain and body, improving behavior, communication, and sensory processing in children with autism. However, there is currently no strong scientific evidence to support bioacoustic correction as an effective treatment for autism. There are very few studies, if any, that provide reliable data on the efficacy of bioacoustic correction for autism. Most claims of its effectiveness are anecdotal, coming from testimonials rather than clinical trials. The idea that sound frequencies can “correct” neurological issues in autism is not supported by our current understanding of neurobiology or cognitive science. Autism is a complex developmental disorder with genetic, environmental, and neurological components, and it is unlikely that sound frequencies alone can produce significant changes in brain function. Bioacoustic correction programs can be costly and require ongoing sessions, sometimes over extended periods. Given the lack of evidence for its effectiveness, this can lead to significant financial and emotional strain on families who are already managing the challenges of autism. It can be considered a scam.
